Lead Technician
Patrick Douglas brings extensive expertise in engineering, technical support, and CAD design to Drafting Mechanix, with a background spanning over a decade in precision measurements and advanced surveying technologies. An Ohio State graduate, Patrick has specialized in fluid power, robotics, and industrial equipment precision alignment, combining technical knowledge with hands-on problem-solving skills.
Patrick’s diverse experience allows him to deliver innovative solutions that enhance project accuracy and streamline workflows across various industries. Jeff Douglas
Founder and Mentor
Jeff Douglas, founder of Drafting Mechanix Ltd., established the company in 1985 to bring precision and innovation to the drafting and design industry. Drafting Mechanix started out designing and illustrating Air and Water systems.
With a hands-on, client-centered approach, Jeff led notable projects such as updating navigational charts for Lake Norman, showcasing his ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving demands of the industry.
Jeff’s dedication to quality and innovation laid the foundation for Drafting Mechanix’s reputation for excellence, which continues to guide the company today. Having passed the torch to his son Jon, Jeff remains proud of the company’s growth and its ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional solutions.
